About the event
Bring your little ocean lovers for S.T.O.P.'s first-ever family day. We are teaming up with young Florida author Emiliana Fuger to celebrate her award-winning picture book, Anatomy Under the Sea: The Adventures of Luna the Loggerhead. Your kids will hear Luna's story read aloud, learn real sea turtle science in a kid-friendly Turtle Talk, make a craft to take home, and get the chance to meet the author and have their book signed. And because real loggerheads are nesting on our beaches right now, the story comes to life just down the road.
About the book and author
Emiliana Fuger is a young Florida author who turned a school science project into a published picture book, now part of the Library of Congress permanent collection.
