Every year, thousands of sea turtle hatchlings along Florida’s coast struggle to survive against human impacts: disorienting lights, coastal development, pollution, and climate change.
At Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (S.T.O.P.), our volunteers are on the beaches every night of nesting season, rescuing disoriented hatchlings and guiding them safely to the ocean. But our work doesn’t end there. We educate, advocate, and inspire year-round to protect these endangered species for generations to come.
